MORRIS, Ill. March 12, 2019 – The Morris Complex of LyondellBasell (NYSE: LYB), one of the largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies in the world, is proud to announce Randy Tatum as the new site manager.

Tatum replaces Tim Carnell, who after a year and half in Morris, was appointed to Senior Director, Global Engineering and Turnarounds in Houston, Texas based at LyondellBasell’s U.S. corporate headquarters. Tatum brings more than 35 years of experience in petrochemical manufacturing to the role. Previously he held several manufacturing jobs from director level to business roles in the polymer business. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Lamar University in Texas.

The Morris Complex employs approximately 400 workers. Using natural gas liquids as a feedstock, the plant manufactures ethylene, the world’s most widely-used petrochemical, which is then converted into polyethylene plastic resins.
